  2. pleasantly surprised how well the discussion went– because the nature of the meeting is vulnerable to difficulties, but i suppose i shouldn't be surprised considering the people involved.great episode to watch and talk about. everyone meshed really well, and it flowed smoothly. alot of good & interesting perspectives, a few of which hadn't occured to me. plus, another fine guest with Kimberley– who i didn't recognize from several other genre shows i like. MM has a knack for drawing interesting & nice people into it. so much fun to reminisce.

  4. Haven't long finished listening to the first panel podcast and the Kimberley Warnatt interview. It seemed to flow smoothly. I enjoyed listening to it and learnt some things about the episode, observations about some of the imagery). Didn't the statue weep as well? With the interview part of the MM Group Sessions podcasts you can sometimes hear background noise. About 25 minutes into the podcast it sounded like a male voice was saying something while Kimbery Warnatt was being asked a question about Millennium (think it was about Millennium).Something Jim said which I need to clarify, about when Millennium was shown in the UK. ITV only ever had the rights to the first season. It started on Sunday nights but the ratings weren't good. It moved to late nights, when it was shown from the beginning again. They got so far through then it stopped. Eventually the remaining unaired first season episodes were shown by ITV.Sky One premiered the second season of Millennium in the UK. But they didn't show the third season. I think Sci-Fi in the UK premiered Season 3.That's going to be a fascinating discussion, the crossover with XFilesnews.com next week.

  6. I downloaded it and listened to it on my iPod as I was driving to and from the capital today. And I thoroughly enjoyed it, both the interview and the panel discussion even more.I'm listening to the panel discussion again because of the unfortunate different sound quality on Mark's end (no offense, Mark :).Just a funny thought, it crossed my mind that Mark was disguising his voice like people on TV with changed voices and only shown in shadow silhouette.A lot of thick accents on display, just great to hear that, every dialect and accents are beautiful. There are no wrong or ugly dialects/accents…okay, I didn't didn't understand a thing when I saw Billy Elliot in school. So, I guess I'm not so biased as I thought hehe…Great job as always.Look forward to more panel discussions. I'm always available for a podcast (if it ever comes to it), except when I'm working. But I guess I'm not the most fanatic information wise regarding Millennium.Don't be dark!Cheers from Iceland!- Jósef

  8. It was a pleasure talking with the guys on the panel and Kimberly was a joy! We had a blast doing both. Wave_Crest – yes, there was probably some noise in the background as she was on a cell phone. The same goes with Mark, he was on a cell phone as well. Most of the people we interview don't have Skype and prefer us to call them on their cellphones. Lance was actually outside on his back porch when we were talking to him. 🙂

  12. Wavecrest: I have to dispute that (unless you have evidence I do not) as I missed most of season one when it aired on ITV (catching just the pilot, Gehenna, Lamentation and Paper Dove I think). Then caught season two as it aired (specifically some of Beginning of the End and Curse of Frank Black). I didn't have Sky at the time, ergo, there must have been a terrestrial transmission of season two! 😀

  14. Troy's voice is very deep indeed, he almost broke my windows when I played it back just now! I wish I could talk with such bass! Jim's introductions are always brilliant, always complimentary and fun to listen to! What a great double act!Great interview with Kimberley Warnat, always nice to hear what the actors from Millennium thought about their time spent on the show. She's really nice and I wish her the best of luck for future roles. It was also interesting to hear Kimberley describes her experiences on set and her thoughts on the lovely Kristen.I thought the panel went really well, and Troy deserves pat on the back for putting it all together, handling the techy side. I wondered how it would work out with more then 3 speaking, would some be muffled or inaudible and aside from a few instances it went well. Thanks too, for the wonderful opportunity! If I get invited to appear on the panel again, I hope I'll be a bit more relaxed!Mark was spot on, the episode packs in a wonderful amount of trivia and info, and as I said afterwards its great that you can go away after watching the ep and try and learn more. For those interested, I've put some together a collection of Wikipedia excerpts in an episode related article on M-TIWWA, covering the 'Marian sightings' that Lara mentions in this episode. You can find them here:References to Marian apparitions in AnamnesisObviously you can also check out the original full articles at Wikipedia too. I'll add some more articles in the near future.

  16. Hey Guys,Just listened to the show and I did enjoy the interview with Kimberly very much. I did not know that she was in so many things that I enjoyed watching and I am looking forward to seeing her in whatever she does next. Now, on to the panel discussion. Mark, I was so happy to finally hear you speak and now I know what a true Yorkshireman sounds like. 🙂 Graham, you have a very sexy voice would love to hear more from you! 🙂 Now seriously, I was a little disappointed with the panel discussion and you know that I always have something good to say but why was there no female perspective on the panel when the episode was a fully focused female episode? There have been so many female visionaries throughout religious history such as Mary Magdalene of course, Joan of Arc and Bernadette of Lourdes, a young teenage girl who along with her sister and friend saw visions of the Mother Mary for eighteen days back in 1858. So, one has to ask why is it that females are seeing these religious visions? Is it because of their innocence or youth? Mary Magdalene was thought to have been a whore but was this said to cast doubt on her? Did she have a relationship with Jesus and as the result a daughter was born? If that is true can you imagine the crumbling of Christianity as we know it today? It does leave you with a lot to think about, could Jesus, being in a male human form have the same desires and needs as a human being? I think that is why Anamnesis is such a fascinating religious episode. There are so many deep religious discussions that can go along with this episode. Being someone from the South and from the "Bible Belt" I can guarantee you that religious views are very strong here and anything that deviates from the norm is usually viewed upon as of the devil! Even a movie that is out that has anything to do with a different religious belief will not be shown in our theaters. I do remember when The Golden Compass came out there was a ban on it from some churches in the area. Crazy! As far as the Mulder/Scully resemblence I didn't really see that but I did see a whole lot of underlying tension between Katherine and Lara! There was so much jealousy there, Katherine I think did see Lara as not so much the other woman but the woman that she could never be. Now I will probably get a lot of hate on this but I am a Lara fan and let me explain this, Lara represents the Millennium Group to Katherine and everything that Katherine is trying to understand to help her marriage and then in walks this woman who is in the Group and understands and is already that one step closer to her husband that she is not.Another side thought, is that Jordan has visions of an Angel and of course so does Lara and didn't we see in one episode that Frank's mom had the same visions of an Angel? I could be wrong but I think I did see that. So, all in all a good discussion and I hope there are many more to come and maybe Frank and I or just me could be a part of one in the future. 🙂 Laura

  21. Graham -I think Laura hit upon your other Mary Magdalen / Black Virgin reference episode in her comment – Wasn't it in Midnight of the Century? I may be wrong. Would have to go back and look…Either way, Laura, no worries on the female perspective. I was wearing one of my wife's dresses while I was Skyping. ;-)(Just kidding. But James is going to need something else to pick on me about soon enough LOL)

  25. @LauraROFL! I'm afraid EK is size "Tiny Little Redhead" and I am size "Big Guy Extra Huge" so no such luck. 😉 As to the episode however -Something that struck me recently as I was sitting here thinking about the ep and discussion again – There was a point I had intended to bring up but completely forgot (I blame James and his futzing about with his nipples and such)… Anyway, the question is this:When the pastor arrived at the police station after Catherine and Lara found Clare and the girls in the woods with the teacher, he demanded to baptize ALL of the girls – However, he issued the demand to Clare's father. I don't recall any other parents being present. Clare's father gave the okay with a resigned nod and the next scene we see is the Baptisms taking place at the church. I'm curious as to how it is HE could authorize the Baptism of minors for whom he is neither parent nor guardian? I suppose there could have been the whole "off screen" unwritten contact with the other parents, but the scene itself didn't play that way for me because of the quick cut to the church. Obviously it had gone night to day, but it came across as a "next morning" sort of thing. My wife had the same impression too, so at least there's two of us (LOL)…Not a big deal, just kind of struck me as odd… I'm sure it's just me being anal about continuity of story lines. (I drive my editor – and myself – crazy with this sort of stuff, believe me…)

Maybe thats why we dominate our men. haha lol (just kidding):) I don't know why the dad seemed to give the ok for all the girls to bebaptized, maybe it was just a parent thing, speaking for all the parents, but I don't know. I know I wouldn't want anyone else thinking for me especially as to what to do with my kids. Thats a good point that you raised, I have never thought about it Murv, have to watch the episodes more closely. 🙂 Laura
