Avatar Vision Proudly Presents: As Strong As Eye Am!

Time, once again, for MusicMonday™ and our foray into the world of Millennium Music Montages. After celebrating the likes of Lucy Butler, Lara Means and Catherine Black, there really is only one woman left in Frank’s life to turn our attention to and Josef has done just that with his latest video (I can think of one fan of this character in particular who is sure to get a kick out of this.) So without further ado, it’s time to leave the popcorn in the cupboard this week and instead grab yourself a packet of origami paper to fiddle with as you watch. All will become clear!

As always, we thank our resident video alchemist Josef for taking this campaign and continuing to plug it in the vast abyss that is Youtube and we hope you will feel in some way inspired to follow in his footsteps and donate a little video magic of your own.

Don’t forget to leave your gushing praise, and we expect nothing less, for Josef in the comments section and as our first year of existence softly leaves us, Josef has prepared a little something to commemorate our anniversary – more on that later in the week. Who knows, maybe all his hard work will inspire you to do something similar.

As promised, each music new release from Josef will be accompanied by a postcard that we urge you to send to Steve Asbell at 20th Century Fox. Fox have begun to take notice, your hard work is paying dividends. We are Frank’s Army and this is Operation: Fox! Do not give up, send this postcard today.

  1. Mark, what brilliant postcard design! You probably had some "help" there, but to think of this! This is probably your most inventive one yet.I think Troy will weep when he hears that you had a hard time doing this postcard, not nearly as much fun as doing the Lara Means one. :)Cheers from Iceland!- Jósef

  3. I did have a little help I concur. A certain someone in Iceland has all my best ideas :PThe only reason I enjoyed it less was because nothing worked. I think the end result is 'version four' of the postcard and never has Photoshop had so many deletions lolBrilliant video as always my friend. This chap is about three/four videos in front of what you guys actually see. He's more productive than Lionsgate and his wages are very poor, I can assure of that 😉

  5. I actually have a few Shriekback vinyls. And I wouldn't be surprised if I would use a Shriekback song in a future MM music videos.Just have to find an episode, really.Mark, is stretching the truth a bit, but I AM ahead of the game, but not THAT way ahead.I need that gap, in case, I hit a "road-block".Thanks, Murv. Glad you liked it.You should like the next one as well, come next Monday. ;)And this is an obscure song, they didn't even release the song on an album, just the soundtrack for Manhunter, brilliant soundtrack, it can't be beat.- Jósef

  11. You MAY have heard it before, IF you have seen Micheal Mann's Manhunter.Forget Brett Ratner's remake, Red Dragon (which was frankly to make the "holy" trilogy, which is so cool to do).Folks, this is an order!Go see Manhunter, great flick.Highly recommended!- Jósef

  13. Now before I leave the gushing praise as requested:Manhunter is a brilliant film and one which is sadly overlooked in the canon of Lektor (later to become Lecter) stories. I personally find Will Graham a far more compelling protagonist than Starling but I'm guessing I will be in a minority here.A great video and one which picks the high point of Emma's arc after a disappointing beginning for that character. It's nice to see what you've been doing these, breaking out of episode driven videos and focussing on characters and their arcs a little more. Impressive work.

  15. And a little trivia for you, Bill Smitrovich was in Manhunter. Small part, but he had some lines.I saw his name in the credits, and went back, and sure, there he was.- Jósef

  16. Well I give you praise dude. Always been one of those who didn't quite get Hollis especially as Catherine and Lara had carried the torch so well and in came a character with a serious on-screen chemistry issue but you have redeemed her, somewhat, in a great video that made her more appealing than she probably was.Nice cuts, lots of enjoyable moments and it's evident the amount of work you put in to your videos.I'm sure Youtube, and Millennium, is all the better for you.

  18. Vivi, I'm so sorry, but I've always been putting the Filter one off. As I'm always trying to find a connection with the music AND lyrics to a specific "Millennium" episode, and somehow it has fallen through the cracks. But I've been thinking of it, and have not forgotten about it.There is an episode or two I have in mind for that, so maybe soon I can take a "nice shot" at it. Maybe in October, if I can get my act together. It seems my DVD ripping program is giving me troubles, got corrupted.Hope I can fix it, or find another suitable program before next week. But next week's video is in the bank, don't worry.Cheers from Iceland!- Jósef

  22. That photograph of Emma Hollis when she was younger, made from the wrappers, is very reminiscent of the early X Files episode "Conduit" (along with the image of the palm tree lit up on the wall in another scene in "Darwin's Eye").For some unknown reason "Darwin's Eye" was not shown in a recent repeat screening on Zone Horror (in the UK) of Millennium's third season. All the other episodes were shown but not this one.
