Michael R Perry Update: Paranormal Activity 2

Mikado writer Michael R Perry has been hired to write a sequel to the indie Horror Hit Paranormal Activity reports HorrorSquad.com.

“Paramount has hired Saw VI director Kevin Greutert and prime time veteran writer Michael R. Perry to create the sequel to last year’s indie sensation, Paranormal Activity. Director Oren Peli made the film on a $15,000 budget but it went on to cash in over $150 million worldwide, boasting a clever web marketing campaign.”

When’s this sequel to be released? You’ve guessed it. Halloween. Not an easy film to sequel, and indie flick Blair Witch didn’t fare to well in its Hollywood follow up movie. Can Perry break the trend?
